Alert Preferences
The Alerts Preferences allow you to define actions that are taken taken when an incoming packet matches a set of predicate expressions.
QTH.app comes preloaded with several example alerts. All but one are disabled. You may delete the examples if you would like.
The Station Emergency implements the standard emergency alert functionality that APRS clients should implement. It can be modified or disabled if you wish, though.

Actions
- Send Notification : When selected, an alert will be sent to the macOS Notification Center
- The text of the notification will be the name of the alert
- Pan map to station : When selected, an alert will pan active map window to the station that triggered the alert
- Animate of map : When selected, animated circles will radiate from thet station that triggered the alert
- Play sound : When selected, the alert will play the chosen alert sound
- Speak text : When selected, the alert will use the macOS speech services to speak the text. Voice settings can be changed in
